Cluster Organisation

IntCDC's organisational structures for highly interdisciplinary research, collaboration with academic and industry partners, and support for early career researchers

The organisational structure of the Cluster of Excellence IntCDC reflects our ambition to play a significant role in shaping the future of architecture and construction. It is designed to promote collaboration with partners from academia and industry, and to provide the best possible support for early career researchers in their next career steps.

Organisation

The Cluster is represented by the Board of Directors, supported by the Management Team, and governed by the General Assembly. An Advisory Board oversees the Cluster's activities. The Cluster's statutes guarantee participatory and representative rights for all status groups.

The Board of Directors is the executive body of the Cluster and is comprised of five Principal Investigators representing Cluster's Research Units: Architecture, Structural Engineering, Building Physics and Geodesy, Manufacturing and Systems Engineering, Computer Science and Robotics, and Humanities and Social Sciences. Including the spokesperson of the Cluster of Excellence, who simultaneously fulfils the role of the director and represents the board, and the deputy spokesperson. The Managing Director attends the Board in an advisory capacity.
