Dear all,
The upcoming event of the Visiting IntCDC Institutes Networking Programme (ViNe) offers a behind-the-scenes look at the Institute of Industrial Manufacturing and Management (IFF).
Prof. Bauernhansl (PI) will give a 30-minute lecture, “Design and Development of an Exoskeleton for the Construction Industry from Zero to Hero”, on the design, development and evaluation of exoskeletons for the industry. Together with his team, they will show prototypes of cyber-physical systems and explain the mechanical engineering process, including smart exoskeletons.
The talk will be followed by a guided tour which will include the motion capture laboratory, where all use case assessment starts.
Our ViNe networking programme aims to promote mutual acquaintance, interdisciplinary exchange and cross-disciplinary understanding between researchers from around eighteen institutes at the University of Stuttgart and one MPI, encompassing architecture, structural engineering, building physics, engineering geodesy, manufacturing and systems engineering, computer science and robotics, and human and social sciences.
