Symposiums on Construction Robotics and Computational Design for Sustainable Construction at ETH Zürich
The NCCR Digital Fabrication in partnership with ETH Design++ will host the Future of Construction Symposium from 21-23 June 2022. This joint symposium is organised by key researchers from these disciplines within the NCCR Digital Fabrication and aims to bring together the topics and the disciplines of Computational Design for Sustainable Construction and Construction.
The Future of Construction event features two symposiums with complementary topics, i.e. one on Construction Robotics and one on Computational Design for Sustainable Construction. The shared goal of the symposiums is to bring together experts from various fields such as architecture, sensing, robotics, engineering, computer science, circular construction, computer vision and more. The content addresses challenges for the future of construction, focuses on innovative methods, disseminates knowledge and establishes a dialogue between participants from academia and industry. This exchange will help identify needs and opportunities between the various research fields involved for successful future collaborations.
The symposium format will be 2 days of presentations, discussions and demonstrations, followed by a day of workshops and a closing “field” event.
Call for posters deadline: 31 May 2022
