On 5 October 2021, Cordula Kropp, Principal Investigator at the IntCDC, will give a presentation on “I E: reasons and methods for user involvement” at the virtual conference "WearRAcon Europe 2021".

The conference will provide an insight into the European aspects of industrial exoskeleton technologies and their assessment methodologies.

International representatives of various industrial exoskeleton application sectors will report on their experiences regarding the development, implementation and evaluation of exoskeleton systems. Further exoskeleton research topics such as exosuits, digital biomechanics, and human factors and acceptance will be discussed extensively.

Presentations from renowned exoskeleton companies, such as the Spotlight Demo from Laevo, revealing for the first time its newest version to the public, will give the attendees a current and comprehensive picture of available commercial industrial systems.

The conference is organised by Fraunhofer IPA and the University of Stuttgart, in collaboration with the Wearable Robotics Association.
