We are pleased to announce that IntCDC's Junior Research Group Leader Marie Davidová received funding for her co-design prototyping teaching block “Synergetic Transformations”.

The two-week elective block will be held between two transdisciplinary Masters Programmes, the M.Sc. Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design and the M.Sc. Public Planning and Participation. While the first one involves purely international students from developing countries, the second one covers mainly German students.

The block will focus on collaborative processes of gigamapping (visual complexity diagramming) in search for transforming the SOWI institute’s courtyard into a community garden. The community here should also integrate other than human species. This community space should therefore provide edible and habitable landscape for all. This also includes humans. The block will finish with common prototyping of the designed transformation and community celebration.
