The members of Research Project RP 18 held a two-day workshop in Calw. The four institutes (IBL, SOWI, IABP and IIGS) involved in the second phase of RP 18 (Holistic Quality Model for Extension of Existing Buildings: Social, Environmental, Technical and Economic Integration) had quite an intensive exchange, reviewing the work and output of the first phase and then discussing the new disciplinary and interdisciplinary challenges as well as the future work and publication plan of the second phase. In the evening, the members celebrated their new joint publication on Holistic Quality Model and Assessment – Supporting Decision-Making towards Sustainable Construction Using the Design and Production of Graded Concrete Components as an Example and went bowling together.
The workshop was funded by the IntCDC Best Paper Award 2020, in which the RP 18 team won in the first project phase.
