Within the framework of Structurally Associated Projects, IntCDC is engaged in the ‘Timber Construction Initiative’ launched by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Food, Rural Affairs and Consumer Protection. The aim of this funding programme is to promote climate-friendly construction on a broad basis in the forest state of Baden-Württemberg. As an interface between the Timber Construction Initiative and the expertise in timber construction research available at the Cluster of Excellence IntCDC, the digitize wood platform was created. In addition to knowledge transfer, the aim of our Structural Associated Projects is to explore common research interests with other participants, from which future collaborative projects can be developed.
